                    | NSS GGM Science College  organizes Nukad natak Ek kadam Swatchta ki aur and plantation on World Environment  Day  |   |   |   Early Times Report JAMMU, June 2: NSS GGM Science College under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and supervision of NSS Program  Officer Dr. Deepali Mahajan organized nukad natak under the aegis of Clean India and azadi ka amrut mahotsav in the college campus celebrating World Environment Day. It is celebrated by millions of people across the world. "Only One Earth" is the campaign slogan, with the focus on "Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature". NSS volunteers  performed nukadd natak Ek Kadam Swatchta ki Aur in college campus making students aware of the importance of cleanliness.  It is important for the overall development of citizens in terms of health and well-being. Garbage and wastes are serious threats facing the nation. Cleanliness is our right, and it is also quintessential whether it is our home, public areas or workplaces. Every citizen has to contribute to make India clean and green.  NSS  volunteers  planted saplings in  the college campus encouraging others to grow more and more trees, nurture them and grow trees for better future. The NSS unit  should ignite and raise the level of environment consciousness among youths and made them responsible towards the conservation and preservation of the green environment. |
