| Mohinder files nomination from Jammu West | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 3: Mohinder Pal Singh (Pandu), a Social Activist and State President, JKNPP Students Wing on Tuesday filed nomination papers as JKNPP candidate from Jammu West constituency. He was accompanied by a large group of about 3000 followers and party supporters to the office of Returning Officer at Irrigation Office, Canal Road Jammu. Singh is the first student leader, who while studying in the University is contesting the assembly elections. Addressing his followers and party supporters, Pandu said that time has come when politics needs a change. He said that during 60 years of independence the traditional politicians and political parties exploited the innocent people of the state. Regionalism and religion is being misused by these political parties to seek individual benefits. Neither there is any development nor employment to the youth. He said the great reason for terrorism in the state is exploitation of the people by the politicians. Appealing the people to vote in his favour in the elections, Pandu promised a heroic role in mitigating the problems of the people. He also promised adequate employment to the youth, if he is elected to assembly. |
