| NC to take people out of morass: Arshad | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Hiranagar, Dec 3: Peace, prosperity, and development is among the top most agenda of the National Conference and party after coming to power will usher a new era of development in the state, which remained neglected during the six years of the most unfortunate rule of the coalition government led by Congress and PDP, said Chowdhary Arshad National Conference Gujjar leader while addressing series of election meetings in Hirangar assembly constituency in support of Dharmpaul, party's candidate from Hiranagar. Ch. Arshad accompanied with Ch. Bashir Ahmed Khatana and Chowdhary Zargar urged the people not to fall in the trap of parties like Congress, PDP and BJP who did nothing to show to the people of the state barring false promises and hollow slogans. Arshad said previous coalition government received a strong support from the center and numbers of special packages were provided to the coalition regime for the overall development of the state. "However, the present scenario in the state was enough indication that all those packages have only added to the luxuries of the ministers and MLAs of the previous ruling parties", he said adding that the coalition was accountable to the people and will be asked to explain as where the money has been spent. He made a fervent appeal to the Gujjar and Bakarwal brethren to come forward and strengthen the hands of National Conference and their candidates by casting their valuable votes in their favour. |
