JAMMU, June 3: AAP leader Sandeep Singh Chib along with other party leaders paid rich floral tributes to Rajni Bala, and Bank Manager Vijay Kumar at party head office in Gandhi Nagar Jammu todayPaying his tributes,Chib termed the killing dastardly acts of cowardice aimed at disturbing peace in Kashmir and trying to create an atmosphere of fear and panic among people. These mindless killing will further add to the prevailing sense of insecurity among the people, especially non-locals who come here to earn a dignified livelihood for their families. There can be no justification of this cold blood and our heads must drop in shame. No words of sympathy can compensate for the loss their families have borne," he said.He said that the killing spree of innocent civilians was excruciating and every heart was wailing over such tragic incidents.Killing innocents in cold blood can't be anything but brutal. Those behind such heinous acts must be punished with all severity," he said. Chib termed the civilian killings as unforgivable and mindless.The killing spree of innocent civilians is unbearable and unacceptable," Chib said and urged the government to identify the killers for exemplary punishment. The spurt in senseless killings of innocent civilians is unfortunate and heart-wrenching," Chib said. May God rest the departed souls at his feet and give strength to the family members to bear this profound loss", he added. Chib further said that the Government has failed to ensure the safety of innocent people especially soft targets like minorities, migrant and Jammu employees and outside workers. Saying enough is enough, Chib observed that selective killings are acts of terrorism aimed at creating disharmony, adding people of Kashmir, particularly the civil society must come out strongly and openly against Pakistan and her proxies who are responsible for such dastardly killings.He hoped the people of Kashmir will come forward to restore pristine glory of the Valley that has received huge dent by the alien gun culture over the past three decades.He said, "the targeted killing spree has created havoc and absolute insecurity among the masses. "How long will this mindless bloodshed continue here, and what would the perpetrators achieve by killing innocent people?" he asked.He urged people to raise their voices against this mindless bloodshed. He said, "Unless people unite to raise their voices against the civilian killings, these killings will not stop".
