Someone should return days of peace in Kashmir: Sahni
6/3/2022 11:17:54 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 3: Shiv Sena J&K unit today staged a strong protest against the BJP Led government at the Centre for its failure to secure the lives of innocent people working in the Kashmir region.
Led by Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena, the Shiv Sena activists assembled near Party Head Office in Jammu and raised slogans against the central Government. Strongly condemning the BJP Government at the Centre and the J&K administration for not providing security to people in J&K, Manish Sahni said that it is the complete failure of those who were boasting of containing the terrorism sometime back. He said that the terrorists have unleashed the reign of terror and the government is doing nothing to stop the unabated killing spree in the Valley which is matter of concern.
Sahni said seeing the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir, every citizen of the country is expecting that someone should return the day of peace in Kashmir, those who made a false promise of taking back POJK and peace in Kashmir should resign
Sahni said that the present situation in Kashmir has become worse as all the claims of restoration of peace and security of Kashmiri citizens have proved to be a hoax. There have been 10 targeted killings in a month including Rahul Bhatt, Rajni Bala, Vijay Kumar and outside laborers. Everyone is pleading for restoration of peace in Kashmir and returning the days of peace, he added.
Sahni said that the position in Kashmir under Modi Government is even worse than 1990s with free for all situation offered to terrorists, who are playing with the lives of common masses as never before.
"Those who claim to take back POJK have proved to be unsuccessful in restoring peace and security of Kashmiri civilians in Kashmir. Once again the painful story of 1990 is being repeated and the government is unable to do anything, on August 5, 2019, after the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the country's Home Minister Amit Shah on the floor of the House asked to withdraw POJK and restore peace in Kashmir," he said.
Despite the lapse of a long gap of almost three years, neither has there been any attempt to take back the POJK nor has Kashmir returned to peace, Sahni said, adding the current situation in Kashmir is writing the script for "Kashmir File 2". The painful decade of the 1990s is being repeated once again.
On this occasion President Women's Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, Vice President Sandeep Bhagat, Secretary Balbir Singh, Geeta Lakhotra, Rajesh Handa, Jyoti Devi, Dimple, Neelam Samyal were present.
