| Lecturers demand academic officers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 3: Strongly advocating for administrative and academic control of Board of School Education by the officers of the School education department, All J&K Plus 2 lecturers forum has said that any delay in deployment of the academic officers in sufficient number would further deteriorate the academic environment.
The forum in its meeting with the chairman of the BOSE Prof Desh Bandu discussed at length the academic need of deployment of officers as heads of sub offices across the state and suggested that this will further strengthen the BOSE to achieve the desired goal of academic excellence.
The other issues that came up for discussion included enhancement of rates of Board assignments, reformative proposals for quality improvement in the standards of education including curtailment in the calendar of examination. |
