Why Minorities, innocents became more unsafe in Kashmir under BJP regime: JKPCC
6/7/2022 11:34:30 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 7: Why Minorities and others including Kashmiri pandits became more vulnerable & unsafe în Kashmir, under BJP regime especially post august 5,2019 questioned JKPCC, asking BJP to explain ?
The targetted and selective killings have increased mostly in last two years, that too post abrogation of art 370 ,whereas it was shown to be the root cause of terrorism and separatist activities. What happened post abrogation and why centre government and UT administration have failed to eliminate terrorism and ensure peace, it asked.
Rather innocents have become victims of targeted and selective attacks and minorities including KPs, Jammu employees and outside workers became soft targets, although they were not targeted during the past so many years.
Surprisingly, in this deteriorating situation, UT administration has posted several non reserved category employees too belonging to Jammu region , to several sensitive areas of Kashmir region, which shows the lack of concern amongst the bureaucracy, for the lives of innocent people
In a hard hitting statement, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma that the minorities and outside people became more vulnerable and soft targets of selective killings under BJP regime în the UT, whereas people were given to understand that security scenario and over all law and order situation, would be much better under UT and post abrogation of Art 370 but reverse has happened, which the ruling party must explain.
All tall claims have fallen flat and innocents became more victims of targeted attacks and those who were unharmed during peak of militancy particularly migrant employees, Jammu employees, outside workers and locals too including majority community.
The government should ensure the Safety and security of all innocents including the minorities and outside workers at all costs. He said the demand of KPs and other Jammu employees for posting in safe location including temporary attachment should be considered sympathetically, till situation is brought under control.
