Divisive' BJP should take cue on bonhomie from Shiekh Abdullah: Javed Rana
6/7/2022 11:35:20 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 7: Javed Rana National Conference Pirpanjal President, taking strong exception of the blasphemous statements made against Prophet Mohammad by BJP's spokespersons (Now former) Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal, said that the saffron party's divisive agenda and hate mongering tactics have been exposed badly not only in the country but abroad as well.
In a hard hitting statement against BJP leadership for furthering divisive agenda in the country, the former MLA said that damage has already been done to the country as is evident from the backlash in the gulf and many other countries over the derogatory language used against the Prophet Mohammad on national TV channel and social media by the unprincipled suspended leaders of the BJP. He said that ruling party from top hierarchy to ground level worker needs to take lessons from the visionary founder of the National Conference party late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Sahib who gave the slogan of Hindu, Muslim Sikh Itihad and played such politics of hate and bigotry, which is ruling the roost under the Modi Government.
The senior NC leader accused the aforesaid leaders of the saffron party of creating communal tension in Kanpur by raking up unnecessary controversy. He said, it is the right time that BJP should introspect and change its course because the policies which this party is propagating are like playing with fire as already the live example is before the entire country.
He, however, maintained that the basic essence of the country is a heterogeneous society and the attack on this characteristic by the 'divisive' parties like BJP is momentary because the people of the country will soon teach a lesson to the saffron brigade for damaging the iconic image of the country at world level.
Javed Rana said that the government under visionary leader late Shiekh Mohammad Abdullah had even garnered praise from the apostle of peace- Mahatma Gandhi and on the contrary the policies supported by the so-called biggest political party of the world-BJP has embarrassed the countrymen on global level by not taking action against its 'sinister' leaders who gave a setback to country and spoiled government's image.
