| SAYSS calls for stringent laws to deal terrorism | | Praises valour of Commandos | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 3: While complimenting the commandos of their splendid job with utmost precision and skill in tackling the worst ever militant strike in Mumbai, Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti has called for a stringent law to deal with the menace of terrorism which has taken an ugly turn across the country. The Samiti in a resolution adopted here today said that ‘entire nation is relieved over the successful culmination of the terrorists who attacked various important installations in Mumbai’. This attack reminds us once again that we can no longer afford to take terrorism casually and is it important that our nation enhanced counter terrorism capability much more. A serious and renewed approach to tackle terrorism is the call of the hour, the Resolution said adding that Sangarsh Samiti hoped that the disclosure on terrorism would hereafter transcend narrow political consideration and the nation will demonstrate maturity and sincerity while dealing with this threat. Terrorisms is a war perpetrated by fanatical religio-political elements on democratic and civilized world. The national consensus and the will the first prerequisite for defeating these elements, the resolution said and maintained that SAYSS calls upon the society to express solidarity with the armed forces and other agencies engaged in this war. The sacrifice of each and every brave India must be remembered and honoured by our society, the resolution said. |
