JAMMU, June 7: As a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' Airports Authority of India organized a plantation drive at Jammu Airport. Around 50 plants were planted in this plantation drive. The aim of this plantation drive was to enhance the green cover around Airport premises and also to give pleasant look to air travelers. Air Cmde G.S. Bhullar, AOC, IAF Jammu was the chief guest on this occasion and planted saplings along with D.S Daniel Dhanaraj, CASO, CISF, Rajesh Nambiar, CADO, IAF and various other officers of AAI, IAF, CISF and Airlines. Officiating Airport Director Vivek Katara appreciated the efforts put in by all for their overwhelming participation in the plantation drive. |
