JAMMU, June 7: BJP Yuva Morcha District Jammu West today took out a Vikas Tirath Yatra bike rally To mark the eighth anniversary of the Modi government, focusing on its priorities of the welfare of the poor and good governance.
Member Parliament (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma in presence of former MLAs Sat Sharma and Shiv Dev Singh flagged off a bike rally from Jaggi Darbar which after passing to various areas culminated at Bakshi Nagar.
The bike rally organized by Ishant Gupta, District President BJYM was attended by Munish Khajuria District President, Karan Singh Prabhari Jammu West, Inder Jeet Sharma Vibhagh Sangathan Mantri along With Mandal Presidents Talab Tillo and Janipur Keshav Chopra and Raveesh Mengi.
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the participants of the rally made people aware by telling the achievements of the BJP government and various public friendly schemes and appealing to the eligible people to take benefits.
They also made people aware about the Sukanya, Kisan Samman, insurance, housing, Ayushman and other schemes of the state and central government and said these schemes were being run under the Government's Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. They appealed to people to take advantage of all the schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the Central Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi has stood firmly committed to the development of J&K.
It is only under BJP ‘s rule that the UT has witnessed various developmental works being accomplished while others are still underway and will soon get completed within time, he said.
He said that his part is working actively for the welfare of the people by implementing a number of schemes launched by the government on the ground level and reaching to the common people in every way possible.
Shiv Dev Singh said that there is a need for wide publicity and dissemination of the Modi government schemes by reaching the workers from village to village.
“With this, every person can know what the government has given us and what work it is doing,” he added.
He said that ever since under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the center, we have seen tremendous progress whether it is law and order or economy in the country.
