Refurbished Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico to reopen on June 9

KATRA, June 7: Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico would be inaugurated after refurbishment on June 9 jointly by Managing Director Sarovar Hotels & Resorts Ajay Bakaya & Chairman Katra Mata Vaishno Devi Hotels & Restaurants Pvt Ltd (KMVDHRPL) Pushpa Devi after a gap of more than two years which it took for taking this new shape by way of its complete modernization, renovation and diversification.
Rakesh Wazir, Managing Director KMVDHRPL said that the hotel would a green 1.5 acres property at the entrance of Katra, adjoining SMVD Shrine Board Central office,500 meters before Katra Bus Stand and 550 meters from newly made Railway Station.
The holy Trikuta mountain where goddess Vaishnodevi lives can be seen from within and outside the hotel.
The hotel in addition to double rooms has spacious suites also. The hotel is fully air conditioned with heating in the winter, direct dial telephones in every room, in house laundry, courtesy cars to pick up and drop the guests from the hotel to Banganaga, main bazar and back on 24X7 basis in house books library, ample car parking with accommodation for drivers, wifi internet facility, restaurant with 100 percent pure vegetarian cuisine offering North Indian, South India, Chinese and continental dishes with 24 hour room service, conference/banquet halls for functions like conferences, marriages, parties etc.
Wazir said that this hotel in past has contributed a lot towards enhancement of tourism and has remained the first choice of travelers and in its new form will prove to be a big facility for the tourists who want to have luxury and good accommodation in the holy township of Katra.
