| GM NR Ashutosh Gangal inspects ongoing projects in Lucknow Division | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 8: General Manager, Northern Railway Ashutosh Gangal reached Lucknow today on a two day inspection visit to take stock of the progress of the various infrastructure enhancement projects ongoing over Lucknow Division of NR. He is accompanied by Principal heads of departments of NR and senior officers of Northern Railway.
On the first day of his visit the GM along with DRM Lucknow, S.K. Sapra called upon Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath and apprised him about the progress of the various ongoing railway projects. He was informed that with coordination with the state government the projects will be completed on time. This will ensure safe, secure and on time rail operations in the state.
Gangal also met the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Durga Shankar Mishra and informed him about the latest on construction of the new railway station building at Ayodhya, Doubling of Jaunpur-Ayodhya-Barabanki rail section along with road over bridges and other projects. The Chief Secretary assured Gangal that the state government will extend all necessary help and assistance for on time completion of the rail projects.
