Early Times Report
RAJOURI, June 8: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal on Wednesday chaired a joint meeting of Revenue Officers and Army Officers to discuss various issues of important nature.
During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held on the matters related to the issuance of requisition order, attestation of mutations of defence land and joint verifications by civil and military authorities wherever required. Issue of Badala Mang Bridge was also discussed in detail.
The meeting was attended by Col. Mandeep; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Behnal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ADC Kotranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria;lt.col Amit Saini, Capt.B S Rathore and Tehsildars.
The Officers from the Defense sought timely submission of revenue papers, avoiding delay in joint verification and rent assessments, demarcation and mutations of land under defence, etc.
Responding to the projected issues, the DC stressed on maintaining close coordination among LMA, Revenue authorities and ADO. They were directed to go for joint survey and demarcation of the lands at the earliest.
The DDC also instructed the concerned Tehsildar to attest the mutations where RO has been issued. He said that coordination issues between Defense and Revenue offices need to be ironed out by conducting Tehsil Level interactions.
It was also brought to the notice of the chair that there was delay in rental compensation where all the revenue papers have been completed, and the matter is pending at the Assistant Defense Estate Officer.
The Army Officer also informed that in some cases a major chunk of land has been vacated by the Army and there was a need for preparation of revenue papers for rental compensation.
The DC directed the Tehsildar concerned to submit the revenue papers at the earliest.
Issue related to the violation of the Works Of Defence Act was also discussed and the meeting was informed that 44 structures have been raised in contravention with the Act.
The DC directed the ADC to verify the NoC issued to the building owners.
