ADDC presides over weekly Block Diwas programme at Panchayat Inderwal C

KISHTWAR, June 8: To reach out the grievances of people at their door step and make aware them about various welfare schemes, Additional District Development Commissiomer Kishtwar Sham Lal today Chaired the weekly Block Diwas programme convened by Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj here at panchayat Inderwal C of Block Inderwal.
Officers who remained present on the occasion were SDM Chhatroo Inderjeet Parihar , CMO Kishtwar Dr Chander Prakash, CAO Kishtwar SK Bhagat, CAHO Kishtwar Dr Sanjay Kumar Sen, Tehsildar Chhatroo Suman Ji Sharma, BDO Inderwal Tasleem wani, XEN PMGSY, CDPO Chatroo and officials from various other department.
During the programme the locals and PRIs highlighted their grievances and demands related to upgradation of local infrastructure of road connectivity, education, health, power and water supply and tourism sector.
After listening their grievances, ADDC kishtwar assured them that their genuine issues and demands will be redressed on time bound manner.Also on spot directions were passed on to different departments to redress the grievances and genuine demands raised by public in a time bound manner.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC urged upon general public to take active participation in framing and planning of the projects/ schemes relating to development and upliftment of the Panchayats besides apprised the locals about SAMPAN project launched by District Administration.
Also on the occasion the officers present in the programme sensitised the public about the various government schemes besides gave an overall appraisal of Govt schemes related to their respective departments.
Locals and PRIs were told to opt the benefits and advantages of the running schemes and become beneficiaries.
ADDC also assured public of full support and cooperation from District Administration for taking benefit of Govt schemes meant for public.
