JAMMU, June 8: NHPC Regional Office, Jammu has carried out two days Plantation drive (08-09th June 2022) under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. This campaign has been started by Rajan Kumar, Executive Director, Regional Office, Jammu on 08th June 2022 with plantation of saplings in the surrounding area of the office complex, Narwal. On this occasion, Rajan Kumar said that trees are an integral part of our lives. Trees and plants are essential for the existence of all living beings. We have to keep our earth green by planting more and more trees so that our planet is protected in all aspects and the coming generation can breathe. He appealed to everyone to plant trees and take care of them.
Plantation was also done by senior officers. On this occasion, Plants were distributed to the employees and outsourced manpower. They vowed to plant them in their habitat and the surrounding area.
On this occasion, all the employees voluntarily agreed in one voice to make their city green. |
