JAMMU, June 8: All J&K1947 POJK Sharnarthi intellectual forum called an emergency meeting of its core committee members under the presidentship of Advocate Amrik Singh and joined by S.Surjit Singh its Secretary.
The Forum in condolence meeting declared the untimely death of Rajesh Gupta ex.MLA of Jammu East as unfortunate and huge loss to the J&K as well as to the Nation. The Forum said that Gupta was a young dynamic personality who did a tremendous development in Jammu East constituency.
He served as District President for two tenures and also lead the youth wing of Bhartiya Janta Party.
The Forum said that sudden death of Gupta has created a wedge in the society which can never be recovered. The Forum observed two minutes silence in the memory of Gupta. |
