DDC Reasi listens to people’s issues at Panchayat Aghar Ballia

REASI, June 8: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal today conducted Public outreach camp here at Aghar Balliyah under the weekly block Diwas programme.
The Deputy Commissioner started the day's proceedings by interacting with the PRIs and locals. She listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound redressal of genuine issues.
Prominent issues raised at the meeting included, meeting shortage of water at Agar Ballian and Vijaypur, early completion of Irrigation channel at Mari, Maintenance of PMGSY Road from Lower Aghar Ballian to upper Aghar Ballian, especially the drains, reconstruction of unsafe room of Middle School Vijaypur, restoration of traditional Talab of Vijaypur spread over 8 canal of land, construction of tractor by Agriculture department, construction of irrigation channel for Village mohalla, resumption of work on PMGSY Road at Bagga Panchayat .
Babila Rakwal also listened to grievances raised by the PRIs and issued directions to the concerned quarters for early disposal of the same.
Some issues were also resolved on the spot after face to face deliberations between district officers, public representatives and the general public.
The Deputy Commissioner also passed directions for completion of developmental works within stipulated time and extension of benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes like MGNREGA PMAY--G Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojna and other schemes in transparent manner.
The camp was also attended by ADDC Jyoti Salathia, ACP, DPO, LMO, DSHO among several other district officers.
