| Sainik School Cadets visit Air Force Station Satwari | | |  Early Times Report
NAGROTA, June 8 : Motivational and educational tours are integral and vital part of training at Sainik School Nagrota. Cadets learn many things when they watch, observe, and assimilate different aspects of social, historical, and cultural aspects of our country.
Therefore, cadets are taken to different institutions of national importance to motivate them and ignite craving for defence services in them. The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian Armed Forces with its primary aim to secure Indian Air Space and provide necessary air support for Indian Military forces.
A team of 32 cadets of Class VIII along with two officials of Sainik School Nagrota visited Air Force Station Satwari, Jammu on May 25th, 2022 (Wednesday). The cadets were received warmly at the Air Force Station and were given the opportunity to witness the functioning and controlling of the aircrafts. They were also shown different kinds of aircrafts and their functioning. Later they were also given information about the Air Traffic Control.
The cadets expressed happiness and many shared their aspiration to join the Air Force.
A tea party was also organized for the cadets wherein they got an opportunity to interact with the Senior Officials who guided and encouraged the cadets to join the forces. The cadets also tried their hands on firing using paint balls.
The visit was highly inspiring for the cadets whose dream is to don the uniform and serve the nation. |
