| Four day long World Environment Day Celebrations held at GDC Nagrota | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 8: Govt. Degree College Nagrota celebrated World Environment Day from 5 June to 8 June 2022. As apart of 4 day awareness program several activities were organized through which students were made aware of the importance of environment and their role in its conservation. To commence the celebrations an oath taking ceremony was organized on 5 June 2022 through virtual media. This ceremony was attended enthusiastically by the staff and students of GDC Nagrota. In the preceeding days several activities like poster making, sustainable habit adoption, essay writing , nature photography on the theme Only One Earth were organized for the students. Principal of the College Dr. Nalini Pathania appreciated students participation and encouraged them to adopt sustainable ways of living giving insight on little changes in lifestyle which go long way in protecting the environment.
