Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 9: Jaya Mala W/0 Late. Prof.Bhim Singh has lodged an FIR in Gandhi Nagar Police Station against one Satveer Singh Manhas and his accomplices for threatening the family members of the deceased NPP Chief besides hurling filthy abuses upon them. Smt. Jaya Mala said that in an interview with a web portal "State Samachar", Mr. Satveer Singh is seen categorically threatening to shoot the family members of late Prof.Bhim Singh. Besides the delinquent has used extremely derogatory language against her and other family members besides hurling choicest invectives upon them. Providing copies of video recordings of Satveer Singh and others to Police, Mrs. Jaya Mala called upon the concerned SHO to initiate immediate legal action against the culprits. She said that some accomplices of Satveer Singh from Udhampur including one Surjit Singh also needed to be booked for their highly slanderous campaign and criminal conspiracy against the family members.
Jaya Mala further sought a probe into the withdrawal of money from the bank a/c of Prof.Bhim Singh after his death. She maintained that Bhim Singh's ATM Card was swiped after his death and the entire money withdrawn from his said account which was a heinous offence and needed due cognizance of authorities concerned.
In the meanwhile, Jaya Mala has appealed to everyone not to make any controversial statement regarding Bhim Singh. She argued that certain vested interests were trying to exploit Bhim Singh's name for drawing political mileage, claiming themselves to be disciples of the late leader and announcing to carry forward his ideology and legacy. Such leaders must refrain as they were the people who were the first to betray him and damage the party, said Jaya Mala.
