| Aitham deprived of basic facilities, developmental activities: Dr Rohit Gupta | | |

JAMMU, June 13: Apni Party Provincial Secretary / District President Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta has expressed concern over the deplorable condition of Aitham village in Jammu East constituency.
He was addressing a public meeting at Aitham village. Dr Gupta was informed by the villagers about the difficulties being faced by them with regard to developmental issues, unscheduled power cuts and irregular water supply.
On hearing their concerns, he said, he will highlight their grievances before the concerned authorities for their early redressal. He said that the authorities have failed on all the fronts and development is not visible on the ground.
"People are still deprived of better road connectivity, lanes and drains," he said, and added that the electricity cuts have increased although the heat wave has increased in Jammu and the mercury is touching over 42 degree celsius from the last some days.
He said that the department concerned must ensure timely drinking water supply and round the clock electricity. He also demanded the cleaning of the pond which is filled with filth and muddy water in the village.
Dr Rohit Gupta was accompanied by Provincial Secretary Trade Union, Daljit Singh, Vijay Gurtoo, Om Parkash Dansalia and others. |
