Shiv Sainiks takes out cycle rally on birthday of Aditya Thackeray
Gives message of keeping environment clean & green

JAMMU, June 13: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit today took out a cycle rally on the birthday of Party's Youth National President and Maharashtra Tourism and Environment Minister, Aaditya Thackeray, giving message of keeping the environment clean.
Led by Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena, the party activists took out a bicycles rally started from Railway Station Jammu passing through Panama Chowk, Bikram Chowk and finally culminated at Press Club Jammu via Tawi Bridge. The participants displayed placards with messages like "Clean the environment", "Stop single use plastic", "Plant trees" etc.
Talking to media persons here, Manish Sahni, in his address, gave a message of environmental cleanliness to the public along with heartfelt birthday wishes to Aditya Thackeray.
Sahni said that environment is related to all those important things around us, which have an important place in our life. Under this, important things like air, water, trees, plants, rivers, ponds etc. At present, due to climate change and global warming, many serious problems have arisen on the environment.
Sahni emphasized on the dire need for developing green and sustainable technologies for production and manufacturing sectors in view of the rapidly declining environmental quality, and consequential climate change due to enormous economic developments, industrialization, urbanization, and population explosion. He said the planet earth will remain inhabitable only when it is well taken care of by each one of us.
"Along with this, pollution is also causing great damage to the environment and our health. If we do not make efforts to protect the environment in time, then the day is not far when our existence will be in danger," Sahni said, adding that at least two days in a week go to your workplace on a cycle, due to which the level of pollution will drop along with staying healthy and the trees will remain green along with maintaining the productivity of the plants. Shiv Sainiks f4om Udhampur, Katra, Samba also celebrated Aaditya Birthday while organising langar and sweet water. On this occasion President Women's Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, Vice President Balwant Singh, Sanjeev Kohli, President Kamghar' Wing Raj Singh, President Youth Wing Binny Mahajan, President Udhampur Sanjeev Sharma Katra President Vikal Abrol, President Samba Neelam Samyal, Shashipal, Mangu Ram, Veer Singh, Sagar Sharma, Sunil Chaudhary, Many leaders and workers including Bhajan Kumar were present.
