| Workshop on First Aid conclude | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 4: A two day workshop on first Aid which started on Dec 3rd at Govt. College for women, parade here today in this college which was organized by NSS and co-coordinated by youth Red Cross Units.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Rajinder Singh Principal Govt. medical college Jammu who was the chief guest on this occasion. Welcome address was given by Prof. Anju Bala. Principal of this college, Prof. Savitri Sharma presided over.
While stressing on the role of first aid she spoke at length on the topic and encourage the volunteers for future such like Workshops. Mahesh Gupta Co-ordinator Red Cross Society also spoke on the first Aid and declared that shortly seven days training Programme on this topic will be extended in GMC Jammu for the benefit of the volunteers. A team comprising of Dr. Narinder Singh and Dr. Pooja acted as a resource persons. Volunteers highly appreciated their efforts for this workshop.
NSS Co-ordinator University of Jammu Prof. Jasbir Singh who was the guest of honour stressed the need for such workshops so that the experience gained shall be extended to the services of the society.
Workshop concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Ram Singh who appreciated the print and electronic media for their wide coverage. Prof. Chander Shekhar, Prof. Neeraj Kumar, Prof. Ruth Karim Programmed Officer were also present during the workshop. |
