POONCH, June 16: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet on Thursday convened a meeting to review the arrangements for Mahan Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Deri Sahib Khari Poonch scheduled to be held on July 03, 2022.
The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Rohit Baskotra; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shamim Un Nissa Bhatti; Tehsildar Haveli, Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak; AD Food, Ranjeet Singh; EO Municipality, Mohd. Rashid, Executive Engineers of different departments, civil society members and religious heads including President Gurdwara Khari Dharamsal, Harcharan Singh Khalsa and Committee members attended the meeting.
The religious heads and civil society members raised various issues related to the arrangement for the Smagam.
They sought provision for parking of vehicles, deployment of Ambulance, uninterrupted supply of water and power, blacktopping of road near Gurdwara Sahib, cleanliness of Nalla near Gurdwara Sahib, removal of dumping material from Hathi Matha to Deri Mang road and other facilities for the convenience of the devotees .
The DDC directed Xen PHE to arrange adequate drinking water supply along with water tankers round the clock at the langer sites, while the PDD was directed to take steps to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the CMO to depute a team of Medical Staff and arrange an Ambulance to meet any medical emergency. He further directed the EO Municipal Council Poonch to ensure proper cleanliness and check on the dumping of muck on the road side. |
