Jammu, June 16: Department of Linguistics and Literature, School of Humanities and Liberal Arts, Cluster University of Jammu, organized a One Day Seminar (Online) on the topic “Aspects of Research Methodology” on 16th June, 2022. The resource persons for the occasion were Dr. Shrawan K. Sharma, Prof. of English, Gurukula Kangri (deemed to be University), Haridwar and Dr. Hari Madhab Ray, Asst. Prof., Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Dr. Reena Salaria, Head, Dept. of Linguistics and Literature, introduced the theme of the seminar and welcomed the guest speakers. Dr. Geetanjali A. Rana, Dean, Faculty of Arts, graced the event with her presence and wise words. The Bio-brief of eminent academicians was presented by Ms. Bharti Magotra and Ms. Akanksha Sharma, Faculty, Dept. of Linguistics and Literature. The other faculty members from the school were also present during the event. Both the speaker deliberated on the topic wherein they discussed various trends and aspects of methodology in research. Further, valuable insights on procedures, processes and nuances of research methodology were provided.
It was a learning experience for the students as they got the opportunity to interact with eminent academicians through online mode. The vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Shiwali Sharma, Faculty of the Department. |
