JAMMU, Dec 4: Last year’s runners-up, Government MAM College and Degree College Udhampur today reached the final of ongoing inter-college football tournament organised by Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu at GGM Science College grounds, here.
Now, in the title clash tomorrow, MAM shall meet Udhampur boys at 10 am.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, MAM College registered a 4-3 victory over Post Graduate (PG) Departments of Arts in the tie breaker. Goalless in the stipulated time, MAM strikers emerged winner in the penalty shoot-outs.
Harneel Singh, Veenay, Taranpal and Sajad were successful shooters from MAM College while Jagmohan, Pardeep and Ravi scored for PG Arts.
In the second semi-final, Degree College Udhampur defeated Bhargwa Degree College Samba by four goals to one.
Today’s semi-finals were officiated by Harmanjit Singh, Gagan Kumar and Tanpreet Singh. |
