| Khajuria to ghussa kyon aata hai! | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 4: Till yesterday, his party was claiming to form next government in the state an alliance with ‘likeminded’ parties but the Jammu and Kashmir BJP Chief Ashok Khajuria is now getting irritated with the name of Panthers Party Chief Bhim Singh. Devoid of any promising program to be presented before the voters, Khajuria and his party had all along trained their guns against the Congress but now they are left wanting for words to counter Bhim Singh. Even though Bhim Singh does not have formidable base in the prestigious Jammu East constituency, where he has challenged Khajuria, but the BJP has now stopped talking against Khajuria and is looking for an appropriate response to plank of Bhim Singh. It becomes interesting to see here that Khajuria’s entire politics is based on ‘discrimination against Jammu’ but he has never offered any convincing formula to empower the people of Jammu. On this account, Bhim Singh scores far ahead the ‘leaders’ of the ilk of Khajuria as he has always been coming up innovate ideas to encourage the people of Jammu. Khajuria’s one point program of empowering Jammu is lashing out against Kashmiris and more particularly against Muslims. Put in comparison with Bhim Singh’s approach, the Panthers Party Chief does talk and propose measures for empowerment and self respect of Jammu but he does not necessarily launch a tirade against minorities. As his self assumed smoothly sailing boat comes to rocked by the presence of Bhim Singh who is out with catchy slogans, the BJP state president is not spitting venom against the Panthers Party leader instead of offering a better discourse to the people. His anger against Bhim Singh was evident when Ashok Khajuria today inaugurated his election office in Panjtirthi area. Lashing out at JKNPP chief Prof Bhim Singh, Khajuria said that JKNPP projects itself a party of Jammu and its chairman claimed to fight for the cause of Jammu, “but I want to ask him one thing why they have not raised the cause of Jammu when they were in power for more than four years as a constituent of Cong-PDP government”. The BJP president asked the people not to fall pray of misleading slogans of political parties who always show green pastures to the people which are never seen on the ground in reality. The BJP leader urged the people to return the party candidates to the assembly so that a people and nation-centric government could be installed in the state. |
