He referred to the reports in the media pointing out involvement of some highly powerful persons behind the alleged scam with preliminary leaks leading to the suspicion of one of biggest recruitment scam, if proved, it is necessary that an independent probe monitored by the Hon'ble court is held in the serious matter involving future of lakhs of youth, applying and appearing in various recruitments. As per reports, over 97000 candidates appeared in the written examination of PSI and when this result itself is in the needle of doubt, it involves the confidence & career of lakhs of youth seeking jobs like this. Sharma said that there is a general belief based on the outcome of the result of some candidates that there is something seriously manipulated and preliminary enquiry being conducted by honest officers team, should have immediately recommended an in-depth investigation without waiting for last date, so that no evidence gets destroyed. The delay can be fatal, hence the Govt. should get immediate feedback a preliminary report for referring the matter to an independent investigation and the Hon'ble court may monitor the probe.
