8th International Yoga Day Celebrations

JAMMU, June 22: Bharatiya Yog Sanasthan (BYS), Jammu, celebrated 8th international Yoga Day(IYD) throughout Jammu region. The main celebration was held at Green Belt Park, Gandhi Nagar Jammu: A large number of regular Yog Sadhaks of the Sanasthan and general public participated in the Celebrations. The Yog Sadhana was conducted as per Common Yoga Protocol. The function was also attended by Satya Pal Ji, President Bharatiya Yog Sanasthan Jammu. He in his address said that Yoga plays a vital role in physical and mental wellbeing of an individual. This function was organised by FM Radio Mirchi in collaboration with various other sponsors. It was co-hosted by Jockey's from Radio Mirchi.
The other main functions are:
Mubarak Mandi Jammu: This too was a well participated function organised by Advocate Smt. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, Jammu. The Sadhana was conducted by experts from our Sanasthan. Besides 100 plus Yog Sadhaks from BYS participated in the celebrations.
Suchet Gharh: This was one of the Iconic places in J&K Where MOS, GOI, Dr Jatinder Singh attended the celebrations. Over 100 sadhaks from our Sansthan Participated in the Celebrations.
High Court Complex, Jammu: Bharatiya Yog Sansthan facilitated IYD celebration at High Court Complex Jammu In which Hon'ble Justice High Court Rahul Bharti along with Advocates, Registrars and other staff participated.
Jakh Samba: The function was attended by ADC, SDM and CEO Sabba Distt. The Sadhana was conducted by Bharatiya Yog Sansthan.
In addition to this Sansthan deputed its traind Yoga Teachers (Volunteers) to more than 50 organisation who had requested for our support. Prominent among them being, Institute of Chartered accounts of India (ICAI), Federation of Industries and Commerce (FICCI), Air Force Station Jammu, Army Station Kalu Chack Engineering Division, Power Grid Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, BMO Kote Balwal etc etc. All the services were provided free of cost as per the motto of the Sanasthan.
