Jammu, June 21: Under the supervision of Major (Dr) Karan Singh Bhau, the NCC cadets of MAM College, SPMR College, GGM Science College, GDC, Paloura Mishriwala, Jammu, Govt. Polytechnic College,Jammu, Govt. ITI, Jammu ,KV No. 2, Jammu Cantt. And other institutions assembled at MAM College. The whole event started with orientation of cadets regarding importance of Yoga. Then the cadets were taught different kinds of asans and Surya Namaskar was also displayed to the cadets by Lt. Sumit Chandail and CTO Dr Devinder Sharma. Lt. Savita Jamwal also congratulated NCC Cadets for InternationalYoga Day and she also threw light on the importance of this day.The whole event was coordinated by Maj.(Dr) Karan SinghBhauand ANOs of other institution – Lt. Savita Jamwal, Lt.SumitChandail, Lt.RishabSharma,Lt. Vijay Kumar Rukwal, (CTO)DrDevinder Sharma etc.
In the end, the refreshment was distributed among theall cadets and pledge was also taken by all ANOs and NCC cadets to adopt Yoga in their lives so that they can maintain physical and mental fitness. |
