IETE Jammu Centre elects new body for 2022-24

Jammu, June 22: The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Jammu sub-Center (IETE JSC) conducted its Annual General body Meeting (AGM) in offline mode, today, on 22th June, 2022. Besides, approving the audited financial statement and activity report for 2020-22, the new body of the office bearers for the session 2022-24 was also elected in the meet.
Prof Pawanesh Abrol, Chairman, IETE JSC while welcoming the members thanked the entire IETE fraternity for support and cooperation and stated that the emphasis of the initiatives remained increasing the visibility of the centre and organising events in the latest technical areas for the benefit of the students.
Er. Vijay Sharma presented the activity report and Dr. Romilla Malla Bhat presented the audited account statement for FY 2021-2022.
Sh. Joy Ganjoo, Fellow, IETE was unanimously elected as Chairman for next term 2022-2024. Er. Vijay Sharma and Dr. Radhika Khanna were elected as honorary Secretary and honorary Treasurer of IETE Jammu sub-Centre, respectively. Er. Samir Sharma, AEE, JKPDD & MIETE and Dr. Romilla Malla Bhat were nominated as Vice-Chairmen of the centre. Dr. Amod Kumar from IETE Chandigarh was the observer appointed by IETE HQ.
Prof Parveen Lehana, IPC, Prof Rakesh Vaid, FIETE, Maj. Gen S. K. Sharma (retd.), Dr. Suresh Rao, were among the prominent members who attended the meeting.
