| We will form own Govt: Soz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 5: Union Minister for Water Resources and President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, Prof. Saif-ud- din Soz visited Charar- i- sharief and Chadura today pay obscene at the Shrine of Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA).
He was accompanied by Bashir Ahmad Magrey Vice President, Executive Members of J&K PCC Ghulam Nabi Mir Lasjan and Master Mohammed Maqbool.
Endorsing the demand of a degree college at Chrar-i-Sharief, Soz declared that he would join the peoples’ movement for fulfillment of this demand.
The congress chief dwelt at length about the achievements of the congress led government in the state in just two and a half year’s rule and said that if voted to power it would give priority to the unfinished tasks. He said his party is credited to have fulfilled almost all the promises made in its manifesto during 2002 elections adding that in certain cases it has gone much ahead citing the example of Wazir Commission report recommending creation of new districts.
He said in view of the unprecedented and notable achievements of the party, he was hopeful that Congress would form the government on its own and appealed the people to vote for the party and voting Congress is to vote for peace, progress and stability.
He further said that during his visit in various parts of the state recently he had assessed that Congress party would form the next government on its own and it was therefore, in the best interests of people, to vote for Congress party
Bashir Ahmad Magrey, Ghulam Nabi Mir Lasjan and Master Mohammed Maqbool also addressed the gathering. |
