| GDC Banihal Organizes Intra- Mural Carrom Tournament | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 24: Department of Physical Education, Government Degree College Banihal Organized Intra- Mural Carrom Tournament for Boys and Girls under the overall supervision of the Principal Dr. Manohar Lal. today the tournament was formally inaugurated by Prof. Bashir Ahmed (HoD Physics). Prof. Yash Paul (HoD Dogri), Prof. Ram Parkash (HoD Mathematics) and Mr. Deepak Kumar (PTI) acted as the referees for the tournament. In this tournament 24 teams of different Semesters of the college had participated. Out of which 06 participant teams were from Girls section and 18 teams were from Boys section. In the finals of girls section, B.Sc. Semester-II won the title by beating B. A. Semester-VI and in the finals from Boys section B. A. Semester-II beat B. A. Semester-IV. In the end winners and runner-ups from both the sections were honored by trophies and medals. |
