| AMO hosts Interactive session among FPOs, market linkage agencies | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, June 25: Area Marketing officer (AMO) Doda-Kishtwar Sunil Singh today chaired an interactive meeting at Chief Agriculture Officer's office complex Kishtwar.
Managing Director, FPOs Amir Rasool, President FPOs Amir Hussain and CEO Khursheed Ahmed remained present in the meeting.
During the interaction programme, threadbare discussion was held and insights were shared with Farmer Produce Organisation (FPOs) of Marwah Block for the sale, package and marketing of Rajma (Kidney Beans).
AMO Doda -Kishtwar Sunil Singh briefed the FPOs about the different market linkage agencies like Amazon Interior platform Ltd. Bombay and Reliance Retail Ltd and advised the FPOs to avail the platforms of these agencies to market and sell their products on national and global level. The CEO of FPOs also conducted a telephonic discussion with the marketing agencies and FPOs to tie up for marketing their products through these agencies.
Besides, AMO Doda Sunil Singh also imparted awareness to the participants about the departmental activities like One District One Product (ODOP), eNAM, packing- grading and the marketing linkages.
Later, the members met with the Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar S K Bhagat and learnt about the various schemes of the Agriculture department. |
