| Children Science Congress at JP School | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 5: 16th State Level National Children Science Congress was held at J.P World School by National Council for Urban and Rural Dev. Society on Topic-Under standing Planet Earth. On an International outreach campaign ‘Plant Earth – our home’. Explore, share and care ‘ Panna Choudhary Chairperson of the host school inaugurated the programme by lightning the traditional lamp. Then a welcome song was presented by the students of the host school. After this state coordinator Zaffar Khan NCSC (National Children Science Congress) addressed all the dignities, esteemed jury members viz Avtar Singh from Chandigarh, Rakesh Khajuria, Dr. Lalit Sharma and principals of various schools While speaking on the occasion, Panna Choudhary said “It is our moral duty to save our earth more than any body else in the world as we’re already considering it our mother by calling it as ‘Dharti Maa’. “He further said, “Mahatma Gandhi said, Earth has enough resources for anybody’s need but not anybody’s greed. So we should step forward and do something to save this gracious planet. The dignitaries present were presented mementoes and bouquets for their valuable time devoted and witness the above said programme. The dignitaries after passing their words get the programme started. Students from all over J&K presented their projects more projects will be presented tomorrow and at evening the result will be given. |
