Jammu based reserved category employees stage protest at BR Ambedkar Chowk | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 25: Today A peaceful ongoing protest of all Jammu based reservedcategory employees association Kashmir continued for consecutive 25th day, in the scorching heat at Ambedkar Chowk / park, Jammu. The protesting employees raised various slogans and urged the Hon'ble Lt Governor led Administration to address their 3-point genuine demands including formation of a comprehensive time bound transfer policy, utilisation of services of employees in their respective district and not to pressurise the Jammu based employees to resume their duties in prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley. To boost the morale of protesting employees, various socio-religious organization came forward in their support. Among them a delegation of All J&K Shree Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Krishnagar, Jammu headed by its President, Sh. Peeran Ditta participated in the ongoing protest and assured them to take up their demands to the higher ups. In this connection, they had already submitted the memorandum to Hon'ble Lt Governor UT of J&K and worthy Divisional Commissioner, Jammu and requested the authorities for early redressal of their demands. Prof G.L. Thapa, President, All J&K SC/ ST Retired Employees Forum also participated in ongoing protest and extended their full support for genuine demands of Jammu based employees in every respects. Those who spoke on the protesting venue to support their cause includes Mr Mangal Angurana, Mr Naresh Kumar, Mr. Sushil Bharti, Mr. Kuldeep Raj and Mrs Madhu Bala etc. Ramesh Chand, prominent member of Core Committee, All Jammu based Reserved Category Employees Association Kashmir thanked the delegations for their continuous support and advised all the employees to keep patience to bear this hardship and maintain the unity to strengthen the ongoing protest and take this cause for its logical conclusion. |
