JAMMU, June 25: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology organised a online webinar on "How to Plan for Start up & Legal Ethical steps" for all semesters of Electrical Engineering students here today. The session was started with the welcome address by Er. Loveneesh Talwar, H.O.D Electrical Department which was followed by the lecture of Er. M.Gunasekaran, presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineer in Karpagam Institute of Technology, Coimbatore (Innovation Ambassador-IIC) who delivered his lecture on start up and legal ethical steps. He started his presentation by talking about the importance of innovation in entrepreneurship. According to him, innovation is the most important word for an entrepreneur and society in general. He pushed everyone to bring out their innovative and creative ideas and shared his steps of taking the idea and making into reality.
He explained the basics of start-ups, including its initiation, raising funds, legal and ethical aspects of start-ups. The session was of great benefit for all the young innovators who were planning for their start-up and business. The session was able to boost their motivation to the next level. The key takeaway of the session was to instill in the students the mindset of more innovative ideas for problem solving rather than the traditional ones.
The students were fortunate that they have got the chance to attend this session for increasing their awareness and well being. The guests remained highly commemorative of the efforts of the organizing Electrical Department, YCET for getting the best out these opportunities, which are being provided under the well wishes of the YCET Management.
Er.Bodh Raj Verma, Chief coordinator YCET Jammu, Er.Dinesh Gupta (Dean Academic, YCET), Er. Robin Kumar (H.O.D, Computer and Science department) and faculty members were also present there. The session ended with the Vote of thanks by Er. Azlee Anjum.
