| Political parties violating model code of conduct, alleges Satpaul | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 5: ‘Candidate of main political parties are violating the model code of conduct during the ongoing election process in the state’, said Dr. Sat Paul, president National Bahujan Party at a press conference here today. He said candidates of these parties have crossed the limit of expenditure prescribe by the election commission, even vehicles hired by PDP, BJP and NC at the time for filling of nomination papers have also crossed the target, fixed at Rs. Five lakhs. Dr. Paul appealed to Election Commission of India and chief electoral officer returning officer, Vijaypur Assembly segment to take the serious note of this because the NC, BJP and PDP are violating the code of conduct and take stern action against the political parties and they be banned in contesting the Assembly elections in Vijaypur. Paul alleged that BJP, NC and PDP are influencing the voters of Vijaypur Assembly segment through Money, Mafia and Media. He also appealed to the voters of the Vijaypur Assembly Segment to beware o the nefarious designs of these parties and vote for him by pressing the NBP Symbol button Railway Engine on 24th of December. Prominent among others present were Madan Choudhary, Surinder Sharma, Han Raj, Harinder Singh Randhawa, Manoj Kumar and Pardeep Kumar. |
