| 8-yrs on, Aader-Anantnag bridge awaits completion | | |

Anantnag, June 28: Work on a vital bridge that could have connected Aader area with Anantnag main town has not been completed since 2014.
Locals while talking to Early Times said, “The foundation stone of this bridge was laid eight years ago and since then the work has been going at snail’s pace.”
They said that nearly 80% work on the bridge has been completed and if the pace is expedited the bridge can be handed over to the public within a short span of time. “We urge the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag and the top officials of the Road and Buildings Department to direct the concerned, including the contractor, to finish the work. Once completed this bridge can bring respite for hundreds of people,” locals added. |
