| Pollution Control devices introduced in Traffic police | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 6: In order to tighten the noose around the traffic violators Traffic Police has, for checking the pollution, been granted four pollution checking devices and today for briefing, training and on spot demonstration for the field staff these devices were put on action here at Vickram Chowk area.
DySP Traffic Rajinder Singh speaking on the occasion said, “in order to keep check on pollution we have four pollution control devices, two for petrol engine and two for diesel engine for on spot checking and those vehicles who emanate smoke above then the prescribed rule will be challaned and in this way the authentication of pollution control certificate issued by private pollution control machine will be looked for”. |
