| Independent candidate survives grenade attack | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Dec 6: A Candidate contesting polls from Chadoora constituency of Central Kashmi's Budgam district had a narrow escape, when unidentified persons hurled a grenade on his cavalcade on Friday.
Reports from Chaddora indicate that the Vehicle of Gh. Mohammad Hajam, who is contesting the election as Indepedendent Candidate from the Chadoora Constituncy came under a grenade attack in Wathura village near the Shrine around 7:47 pm on Friday. In the grenade expolision, the glasses of the vehicle were damaged. The candidate,however, escaped unhurt in the incident, police told Press Bureau of India. |
