| Noted Kashmiri writer Nadeem passes away | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Dec 8: Noted Kashmiri poet and Scholar Abdul Ghani Nadeem passed away here today after prolonged illness. He was 76.
Zaffar Iqbal Manhas , Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages described him as a Scholar of National repute added that as an Editor of Kashmiri Language in the Academy he has contributed a lot to enrich our long term Project Encyclopedia of Kashmir viz a viz Kashmiri Dictionary project. His contributions will be remembered for centuries together.
He was speaking at a condolence meeting organized here at the headquarters of the Academy at which rich tributes were paid to Abdul Ghani Nadeem.
