| Border police conducts raids, seized Matador | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

In order to check the manufacture of illicit liquor, raids were carried out continuously for three days under the supervision if SSP Border, Rajinder Gupta, during the raids illicit liquor and Matador and seven persons were booked under various acts.
Under police station Miran Shaib three persons namely Bansi Lal S/o Mulkh Raj R/o Simble Camp, Parshotam Kumar S/o Ram Chand R/o Basti Krishna Nagar and rakesh Kumar S/o Charan Dass R/o Tinday Kalan were arrested under 50 –A Excise Act. Moreover, two Motor Cycles driving without Licence/ Insuraance under certificates were challaned under 3/181, 146/196 Motor Vehicle Act.
Under R.S.Pura police station two persons namely Des Raj S/o Karam Chand Bhagat and Pushpa Devi W/o Late Girdahri Lal Sansi r/o Village Gazipur Lullian were booked under 50 –A Excise Act. Besides, one Krishan Lal S/o Bhagwant Raj R/o Badyal Brahmna, Salesman of a wine shop was booked under 50 –B Excise Act.
At Vijaypur police station during checking/patrolling two persons namely Kishore Sharma S/o Tilak Raj R/o W. No.6 Vijaypur and Surinder Pal Singh S/o Mehma Singh R/o Gurah Morh were arrested under 13 Gambling Act from railway Road Vijaypur. Moreover, one overloaded Matador driving without Licence was seized under 113/194 Motor Vehicle Act.
