| Bimla on election campaigning in Nagrota | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 8: The six years of unfortunate rule of the erstwhile coalition government has brought miseries to the people of the state and it is high time for the people of the state to weed out the coalition partners form the political scene, said Bimla Luthra Provincial President J&K National Conference while addressing series of election meetings in Nagrota assembly constituency in support of Ajatshatru Singh. "Political parties like Congress, BJP and PDP have no agenda for the development of the state and only raise hollow slogans to befool the people during the elections" and it is high time that we should altogether remove them from the political scene", she said. Bimla Luthra accompanied by Manveer Kour said these political parties for their self interest ignored the people of the state and after forming government in 2002 forgot all the promises which they had made with the people. She urged the people to come forward and vote in favour of Ajatshatru Singh party candidate from Nagrota. In the meantime another NC women leader Vijay Lakshmi Dutta, accompanied by Party candidate from Gandhi Nagar Constituency Tarlochan Singh Wazir addressed series of election meetings in the constituency and appealed the people of the constituency and the women folk in particular to vote and support National Conference. Addressing several meeting she said that NC is only secular party in the state which is committed for the development of state adding that the party will form the next government on its own and the overwhelming response which the party is getting from across the people of the state is testimony to that. She assured the voters that National Conference after coming to power will ensure that the sufferings of the common people which have been increased many fold are minimized to the maximum extent. |
