Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 11: Due to the cloudburst at the Amarnath Yatra base camp lot of people lost there lives as the number has gone up to 16 and more than 45 people are missing.
It is an very unfortunate incident that such massive natural calamity has distorted the entire place and cost a massive loss of lives. The revival efforts are going on to find the missing people who are stuck under the Malwa.
The rain has not stopped pouring at the site which has caused more trouble in the rescue efforts.
Party president AshokGupta stated that till the time rain stops pouring the Yatra should not be started as it would only be an invitation for more problems.
Gupta hailed the rescue efforts of NDRF, Air Force, Army & JKP as they are working 24 hours. The magnitude of the calamity has created a lot of unseen hassles.
The magnitude of the calamity is proving to be a tough task in the rescue efforts as it bought down a massive heap of Mud & rocks.
The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta took out march in Jammu city demanding immediate visit of the central Government either by Home Minister Amit Shah or either Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ji to examine the site of floods and provide a full proof system.
The current government in the centre is promoting the religious sentiment as they will take lessons after the visit of the central government ministers from the mishap.
He further stated that politicians should not play politics during the time of such calamity as it just shows the lower mindset. The politicisation of the mishap is it something which should be done and contribution in the relief efforts should be made to save the lives of the missing.
The politicians who are making such comments should remember there time as during the 1996 cloudburst no politics was played and an holistic contribution was made by every political party.
The central government team should make a visit and look out for the best possible outcome as this is something which cannot be afford.
Gupta welcomed the initiative of the Lt Governor Sh Manoj Sinha who has spend the night at the site of cloudburst to monitor the entire situation.
