| GDC Jourian observes world population day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 11: GDC Jourian observed world Population day under the aegis of IQAC,NSS Unit , Health and eco club and Activity and cultural affairs committee of the college with the aim to make the students aware about it.
A slogan writing completion was organized in the college premises. Students of the college enthusiastically participated in the competition to express their responsibility towards the population control and awareness regarding it. The whole programme was concluded under the guidance of principal of the college Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma.
In his address he stressed that the aim of this day is to create awareness about the exploding world population and its hazards.In slogan writing competition position 1st, 2nd, 3rd bagged by Anjali Mehra, Anu Gupta and Taniya Rajput Respectively. Prof. Naseeb Kumar Bhagat, Prof. Amita Sharma and Prof. Sushma Kumari were the jury members.
Dr. Rakesh Bharti (Convener IQAC), Dr. Rimjhim Gupta( Convener Activities and cultural affairs committee), Dr. Vandana Rajput (NSS Programme officer), were also present in the programme. |
