| Voters have rejected BJP’s hate campaign by trusting Congress: Soz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 9: Pradesh Congress Committee chief Prof Saif ud Din Soz on Tuesday joined party workers in the state party headquarters in Jammu to celebrate the victory of Congress party in Delhi, Mizoram and Rajasthan. On the occasion Soz expressed hope that in Jammu and Kashmir Congress will emerge stronger to form government on its own. Targeting BJP in his brief address to the party workers, Soz said voters supported Congress party and its programs and rejected BJP in Delhi and Rajasthan. He said in Madhya Pradesh the Congress party has improved its tally and the future augurs well for the congress party. It is moment to celebrate, he added. “Congress party has made a mark and people have trusted us while BJP faced rout. He said BJP had unleashed hate propaganda against the congress party and also beaten all the records in spreading canards. Acknowledging leadership of UPA Chairperson and Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Soz said voters across these five states have expressed their faith in the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. “It is not an ordinary victory for Congress party in Delhi where Sheila Dixit was elected for the third term in succession, Soz said it also shows that democracy has struck very deep roots, our people are mature enough to make up their minds and know whom to vote and reject. |
