Bhim tours around Jammu East

Jammu, Dec 9: Bhim Singh, Chairman JKNPP, who jumped in the election in a dramatic way from Jammu East constituency, today performed Prikrama with bare footed across the constituency along with several other party activists.
Harsh Dev Singh senior party leader, who launched the election campaign in support of HIS Party supreme, appealed the Jammuites to vote Prof. Bhim Singh, who stands as a formidable Dogra leadership after Maharaja Hari Singh and Pt. Prem Nath Dogra. He said that people of Jammu have got a real opportunity to send Prof. Bhim Singh to the Assembly so that the voice of Jammu shall be raised with courage, wisdom and vision for redressal of the problems of the people of Jammu who have been ailing under the draconian rule for 60 years.
Singh marched naked feet through Panjtirthi, Jain Bazar, Lakhdata Bazar, Rajinder Bazar to Shahidi Chowk via Jamia Masjid in Talab Khitkian where the Panthers Party chief extended Eid Greetings to the Muslim fraternity. He along with Panthers Party activists walked through Residency road, Parade, Raghunath Mandir and then walked over the steps of Ghumat to reach Jewel Chowk. He garlanded the statue of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra and took a around of Vikram Chowk. He garlanded the student martyrs’ who were killed in police firing by congress government in 1966. This student movement was led by Prof. Bhim Singh in demand of Jammu University and other things.
Prof Singh also prayed at Sunder Singh Gurdawara, walked through Raghunath Bazar, Purnai Mandi, Moti Bazar, Pacca Danga and back to Mubarakmandi after 4 hours of Prikrama.
Singh said that Jammu is his Hastinapur and this is his duty to save the composite culture, identity and entity of Jammu at all caste. This is the reason that he joined election fray to serve the people of Jammu, the nerve center of Dogra art, history, culture and aspirations, he added.
