| Jammu based employees association Kashmir protest at Ambedker Chowk | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 19: A peaceful protest of ALL JAMMU BASED EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION KASHMIR continued for consecutive 50th day, today in the scorching heat at Ambedkar Chowk / Park, Jammu.
The protesting employees of different departments serving their duties in Kashmir division of UT of J&K are on continuous peace full protest since 1st June 2022. Raising slogans in support of their demands they were seeking redressal of their genuine demands and issue in the wake of recent selective and target killings of govt employee working in Kashmir division.
Several prominent members of Jammu Based Employees Association Kashmir - Kuldeep Kumar, Mohan Lal, Jernail Singh, Mangal Singh, Manjeet kumar and Madhu Balla while speaking once again urged Lt. Governor JK UT to issue necessary orders as already has been discussed and assured by the Lt. Governor during the earlier meeting held on June 27,2022 at Governor house Jammu regarding 3- point genuine demands including formation of a suitable comprehensive time bound transfer policy, utilisation of services of employees in their respective home districts and not to pressurise the jammu based inter district/ inter division employees to resume their duties in current prevailing situation in Kashmir valley.
A large gathering of employees along with their siblings were witnessed at the venue. In support of protesting employees, several family members of the employees including their children were present in the gathering and urged the administration to transfer their parents back to their home district as the present situation is not conducive for their parents to survive in Kashmir. |
